Ben Kallos has launched NYCPoliticalCalendar.com, a social organizing site that lists political events and fundraisers.  Kallos previously designed VoterSearch.org, where voters can look up their registration information, and OpenLegislation.org, where New Yorkers can find elected officials’ voting records.  Kallos has had an itinerant year.  He was chief of staff for Assemblyman Jonathan Bing, D-Manhattan, ran briefly for City Councilwoman Jessica Lappin’s seat until she decided to seek re-election, and was director of policy and communications for Mark Green’s campaign for public advocate.
